This
course is located
in Ventura at the Lake Casitas Recreational Area, off of
Hwy 101.
BIG PROPS to the Ventura Disc Golf Club for installing (in
2005) this beautiful course at Lake Casitas. Now you can
surf, wakeboard, camp, and play disc all day!
Lake Casitas is an amazing course. Some shots are long,
some short, some up hills, some down. There are also some
water shots and some blind shots; shooting under par is
certainly an admirable goal on this course!
This is a big park and there is a day-use fee... around
$7. But the available camping, restrooms, boating, disc,
snack and supply store, fishing, and abundance of parking
make it well worth the cost.
If you are in the area, you have to check out this course...
AND DON'T FORGET YOUR SURFBOARD!!!
